Abstract

This paper reviews construction principles and various materials used for production of noise and vibration dumping systems important in technical practice. Relations between material characteristics and end-use dumping properties are discussed. Basic physical parameters and their definitions are summarized. Suitable polyurethane/polybutadiene binder systems based on the liquid rubber Krasol™ are presented.
